So I'm going to write an open letter with the question if she is willing to pledge one of her famous tattoos to charity.....or to the future Tattoo Donor Foundation. The goal of the future foundation is to build laboraties for growing new skin for people with burns....and to grow new skin for acid survivors. ____Removing Tattoo During Lifetime____ My tattoo project for charity is revolutionary in the tattoo world and therefore has some pitfalls that need to be worked out. One of the stumbling blocks is that the tattoo donation going to the auctions at Sothebey's in London is actually an option. So it's not "tangible". An option for a dried tattoo in the future. An option for that tattoo that will only be removed after the tattoo donor has passed away. It's a lot of air, really. I hope that the tattoo donors live to be 100 years or older but the point is that between the time of the auction and the donor's death anything can happen that could result in the tattoo being lost. I'm thinking of a fire, a serious car accident, a flood, war or other calamities. Therefore every tattoo at the auction will be insured by the future Tattoo Donor Foundation by insurance companies specialized in insuring body parts.
